God has blessed us in partnering with a church and a children's home in Haiti, where we work to build homes for displaced people and share the gospel.

After completing a church/school project in Canaan, we are now looking for God's direction in Haiti, including the possibility of working with a young Pastor named Anuel, who is in the  Mirebalais area of Haiti, just northeast of Port-au-Prince. He has a wonderful young church plant in the mountains that held a vacation bible school this summer with close to 200 children attending.

In 2017, we also plan to visit Haiti to provide leadership training, including hosting a minister's conference and working with 20 men from a nearby village on our projects.  We enjoy spending time with them in Bible study and fellowship. However, by taking them with us on construction projects, we are able to teach them the skills necessary to find local employment.

Previously, another of our mission groups enjoyed teaching the village children about Jesus during their vacation bible school.  This was a very rewarding event for both the children and our leaders.
