Over 20 years - God continues to be a Faithful Provider

Throughout the 20 years of Crosspoint Church, God has been a Faithful Provider.  In 2 Corinthians 9:8 it says, “And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”

RESOURCES
God has been faithful to provide RESOURCES, especially in the form of people, facilities, and money.  We began as a church plant with only a few people but over the years that number has grown steadily.  These people have been used by God to pastor others, teach others, lead others, greet others, provide worship music for others, and to complete any other task needed to help our church be able to move others toward a growing relationship with Christ.  God has been faithful to provide the facilities we needed at the appropriate times to meet the needs of our people.  From the Baptist Association Building to the Primary Care Facilities on Hwy. 49, to the building we are currently meeting in, God was always on time when we grew out of our location.  He always knew what facility we needed and where we would need to move to next.  Lastly, God has been faithful to provide the money we needed to be able to pay staff members, to put on outreach events for the community, to purchase Bible Study materials for all ages, to update facilities and equipment, when needed, and to sponsor those who want to go serve on Mission Trips.  God has blessed us through the generosity of the people of Crosspoint.

SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES
God has been faithful to provide SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES for the people of Crosspoint to serve at our church, in our surrounding community, and on mission trips in other parts of our world.  There are many types of opportunities for service through Crosspoint Church.  Every Sunday, we all have a chance to serve together during one of the three worship services.  All people are gifted and have some way that they can serve each week. If you are looking for a place to be used by God, please choose the “SERVE” button on the Crosspoint app and sign up to help.  To participate in service opportunities to partner with God in our local community, there are a variety of events such as the “Holly Jolly Block Party,”  “Cruisin’ for Missions”, the “Helping Hands and Hearts Ministry,” and “Camp Create” to name only a few.  These events reach out to our surrounding communities to invite people outside Crosspoint to get to know our church on a more relaxed level, and God can use you as a volunteer for these events.

INSTRUCTION FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH
God has been faithful to provide INSTRUCTION FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH through Biblical based teaching from our Pastor on Sunday,  through weekly Bible Study groups for all ages, and through other events that are centered around Bible Study and growth.  Crosspoint Church believes the Bible and believes that it is important to know what it says.  We believe that to have a growing relationship with Christ, we need to know what the Bible says about how He lived. One can find this instruction at Crosspoint.

MEANINGFUL OPENINGS/EVENTS TO GROW RELATIONSHIPS
Lastly, God has been faithful to provide MEANINGFUL OPENINGS/EVENTS TO GROW RELATIONSHIPS to bring people together. Our ministries not only provide spiritual growth but they also provide relational growth among Crosspointers and any guests that visit during an event.  Throughout the year, there are a variety of events through each ministry to provide an opening for people/children to come together to grow relationships.  Whether it is through a Worship Night, Potluck, Movie Night, Sportsman’s Banquet, or Cookie Exchange, God provides us opportunities to grow together and form meaningful relationships.

God has surely been a Faithful Provider in the past 20 years and throughout our history God has blessed our church abundantly with resources, service opportunities, spiritual instruction, and meaningful relationships.  We have had all we need through Him from the beginning so that we can do the work He has called us to do, but we must also be willing to actually do the work.  If you are not currently giving, serving, learning, or participating in Crosspoint, please get plugged in because God wants to use you today to “build his Church.”
