For a number of years, Crosspoint Church has partnered with Sowers4Pastors to support the Backpacks for Honduras program. That partnership has now grown to include Crosspoint members traveling to Honduras to further support educational efforts of the people of Naranjito, a small mountain-top community that the church as adopted.  Through a child sponsorship program with Sowers4Pastors, assistance is provided to the children of the community so their families can afford for them to attend school.  It also, helps feed them and provides Sunday school materials so they can learn weekly about God's love.

Since 2015, Crosspoint Church has partnered with the Northern Thailand Impact Ministry to explore opportunities to minister to a people group in Chiang Rai, Thailand. Now, having completed 13 mission trips with more to come, we are listening to God on how He will use us in that area of the world in supporting local missionaries full-time.

We usually have 2 mission trip opportunities a year, one in the summer and one just before Christmas.  Please let us know if you are interested in learning more about how you can become involved in Thailand.

Doug Piper has had a passion for missions since becoming a pastor at Crosspoint church.  During the summer of 2018 mission trip, the Pipers discovered that they were being called to the mission field full time in Thailand.  It took some time to make this call a reality and in December of 2023 they moved to Thailand to begin their ministry. The current plan for the ministry is for them to spend the next 1-2 years learning the culture and language with our ministry partners in Chiang Rai.  When proficient in Thai, they will move to the town of Phayao and start an English Language school and plant a church.  They covet your prayers as moving half way around the world and learning a new culture and language is a significant challenge.

While Victoria and Vancouver Island represent beautiful and desirable places to live, it is also a place in need of the Gospel. Currently, Victoria is one of the most unchurched cities in all of North America, and it is where God has called Noah and Emma Cox to serve as missionaries. Noah serves as the Worship Leader at Canvas Church, a longtime missions partner of Crosspoint Church. In fact, his first missions trip to Victoria was in 2015 as a member of Crosspoint missions team, which returned the next three summers - each time hosting Camp Create for kids in Victoria. Noah's primary roles in this position, working under the leadership of Ashley Austin, Lead Pastor and fellow Mississippian, are to equip the people of God to worship and glorify God with all of their lives and to train up worship leaders throughout the church to be sent out. In addition to raising their two young children -Jones and Ella - Noah and Emma are actively involved in the community,  sharing the gospel and working to make disciples throughout the greater Victoria area, and praying and preparing with Canvas in their church planting efforts across Vancouver Island and beyond.
