Regional Missions
After receiving so much support from churches and others after Hurricane Katrina, we continue to help pay that gift forward by assisting others after natural disasters through our Helping Hands & Hearts group, as well as partner organizations such as Eight Days of Hope, which provides rapid response and disaster recovery.
Each year, an area recently struck by a natural disaster is chosen and up to 3,000 people come from many denominations to help rebuild. This effort takes volunteers at all skill levels and with various talents, not just construction.
After the 2016 Louisiana flood, Crosspoint team, below, assisted a church member's father and also partnered with the local Amite Baptist in Denham Springs to provide assistance to the community.
