FOR OUR CHURCH
And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Matthew 16:18
About 4,500 Protestant churches closed in 2019, with about 3,000 new churches opening, according to Lifeway Research. It was the first time the number of churches in the U.S. hadn’t grown since the firm started studying the topic.
A study by Pew Research found that the number of Americans who identified as Christian was 64% in 2020, with 30% of the US population being classed as “religiously unaffiliated”. In 1972 92% of Americans said they were Christian, Pew reported, but by 2070 that number will drop to below 50% – and the number of “religiously unaffiliated” Americans – or ‘nones’ will probably outnumber those adhering to Christianity.
My friends, the church is indeed under attack from the gates of hell. Would you commit right now to pray daily for Crosspoint Church, the people who call Crosspoint home, and our leadership? Oh that we would remember who is building the church and the theological truth the He is building it upon!

PRAY: Ask the Lord of the church to guard and protect her from the lies and distortions about Jesus. Ask Him to pour out His blessings into the various ministries and opportunities that lay before Crosspoint.

- How are you walking in the reality of who Jesus really is?
- How can you practically pray for the church that Jesus is building? Locally? World-wide?
