Camp Create Wraps Up with Big Finale and Life-Changing Decisions
Nearly 250 children participated in Camp Create 2026, making it another exciting and meaningful week filled with creativity, worship, friendship, and opportunities to grow in faith.
Despite heavy rain and thunderstorms on Thursday, more than 85 campers still arrived ready to participate. The day began fittingly with enthusiastic rounds of "Jesus in the Boat," a reminder that God remains faithful through every storm. During that day alone, six children dedicated their lives to following Jesus. A total of eight made a profession of faith throughout the week.
This year's Camp Create was made possible by the dedication of more than 150 Crosspointers who served throughout the week, teaching, leading, cleaning, providing snacks and ushering through carpool lines - plus more! Among them were also more than 40 cast and crew members who brought the story of Esther to life.
The Wild West adaptation was written by Music Minister Jonathan Woodward and choreography directed by Hannah Way. The energy, storytelling, and commitment to the week helped campers experience the courage, faith, and purpose found in Esther's story in a fresh and memorable way.
“The impact of the week will continue long after our final show,” said Children’s Ministry Director Emily Cain. “I feel certain the children and their families will be carrying the lessons learned forward and experience changed lives through God's work at Camp Create.”
