The Landing offers place for hurting teens

Crosspoint Church's Celebrate Recovery ministry offers a place for the next generation to find hope, encouragement and healing through The Landing, a Christ-centered recovery program designed specifically for middle and high school students.
Today's teenagers face challenges that can often feel overwhelming. From anxiety and peer pressure to family struggles, grief, anger and questions about identity, young people need a safe place where they can be honest about what they're experiencing and find encouragement along the way.
The Landing offers that place.
Built on the same biblical principles as Celebrate Recovery's adult ministry, The Landing helps students navigate life's hurts, habits and hang-ups while discovering the hope, healing and freedom found through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
"The struggles our students face are real, and we want them to know they don't have to face those struggles alone," said Richard Jones, who leads Crosspoint's Celebrate Recovery ministries. "The Landing gives young people a safe place to be heard, build meaningful relationships and discover that Jesus offers hope no matter what they're going through. Our prayer is that students develop a foundation of faith and healthy life skills that will carry them well into adulthood."
An Evening of Connection, Worship and Growth
The Landing meets alongside Celebrate Recovery each Monday evening at Crosspoint Church, beginning with a group dinner at 6 p.m. Students and adults share a time of fellowship and worship before separating into programs designed for their respective ages and needs.
Following worship, students participate in engaging biblical teaching and gender-specific small groups where they can explore recovery principles, discuss life's challenges and encourage one another.
These small groups provide a supportive environment built on confidentiality, respect and healthy communication. Through meaningful relationships and practical biblical teaching, students gain tools to develop emotional and spiritual health, strengthen relationships and make positive choices.
Because The Landing and Celebrate Recovery meet on the same evening, parents and other adult family members can participate in Celebrate Recovery while their teenagers engage in The Landing.
Part of a Larger Ministry of Hope
The Landing is an extension of Celebrate Recovery, a Christ-centered recovery ministry that helps individuals find freedom from life's hurts, habits and hang-ups.
While many people associate recovery programs primarily with addiction, Celebrate Recovery addresses a much broader range of struggles, including grief, anxiety, anger, relationship difficulties, codependency and other challenges that can prevent individuals from experiencing the abundant life God desires for them.
Through biblical teaching, worship, supportive relationships and small groups, Celebrate Recovery provides adults with opportunities to experience healing and lasting life change through Jesus Christ.
The Landing brings that same message to a younger generation, helping students understand that they do not have to wait until adulthood to begin addressing life's challenges and developing a stronger foundation of faith.
No One Has to Walk Alone
At the heart of both The Landing and Celebrate Recovery is a simple message: Everyone has struggles, everyone matters, and no one has to walk through life's challenges alone.
Through these ministries, Crosspoint Church seeks to provide a caring community where students and adults alike can experience God's grace, discover hope and take meaningful steps toward healing and freedom.
